  Household refuse

Ensure your refuse bin is made available on the day collection is done.

Do not put needles, syringes or broken glasses or any other hazardous wastes (i.e. chemical, toxic substances) in your household refuse bin.

Ensure your bin is a covered one. This prevent litter problem caused by animals and strong winds.

Inform Council on the same day if your bin has been missed. We will come and service it.
   
  Bare lands/Overgrown Vegetation

Ensure that your premises are kept clean and free from undergrowth.

Do not allow overgrown vegetation, or rubbish to accumulate in your premises. Apart from creating an unsightly appearance, it also can result in a fire hazard if the vegetation dries out, as is often the case during summer months. Furthermore, improper maintenance of your premises is an offence and may result in legal action against you, and on conviction you may be liable to a fine not exceeding Rs.10,000/-.
