Self Assessment (General Rates)

The Local Government Act 2011 has been amended to enable owner of immovable property to notify this Council in writing on a prescribed form which is available at the Land Use and Planning Department of any new building, improved or alteration made to any property and pay General Rate under Self Assessment in 2 equal instalments if need be. The first instalment on or before 31st July and the second one on or before 31st January next ensuing. A surcharge of 10% shall be applied if payment is not effected before due date as stipulated above
