The Works Committee shall be morefully described as the works, housing, building and lighting committee.

It is the committee that considered and take decisions under delegated powers from Council in all matters amongst others relating others to:-

(i) the building, repairs and maintenance as the case may be set of Council building, street, pavements, drains, beds, gutters, bridges and streams.

(ii) design and contract works.

(iii) construction, care maintenance improvement of public roads (except classified roads), streets, gardens, bus shelters etc.
