This Committee is responsible for all matters pertaining to public health in general.

As such it considers matters relating to:

1) Public Health and Sanitation including restaurants falling within the jurisdiction of the Council;

2) Sanitation of the Council Institutions and services including refuse collection;

3) Council markets and Fairs including management, right of occupation, of stalls and commercial units;

4) The general management of all Council's cemeteries and cremation grounds ;
